a unified Body of Work based on the
concept
‘The Self’, selecting one of the focuses ‘Personal
Place’ OR ‘ Personal Belief’ , in their own choice of media, relating to a
contextual framework.
FOCUS
PERSONAL
PLACE students explore an environment of
personal importance, collecting primary perceptions and responses to return to
the studio and develop a ‘body of work’ with a
personalised response to place
OR
PERSONAL
BELIEF students research a current social
issue/ event that impacts on their lives and develops a ‘body of work’ to
communicate their strong personal conviction related to their researched topic.
MEDIA
Students selected media in response to the concept and their focus.
They negotiate the media -
materials, techniques, technologies and processes that could include 2D media,
mixed media, found media, 3D media, electronic, time based or new media.
The Body or Work can contain one or a variety of media demonstrating your focus and
developing personal aesthetic.
