From research of the period in art history 1860 – 2010, (includes modern and post modern western, eastern, indigenous and other cultural imagery), students selected a painting style that they visually enjoyed for use in their self portrait.

Painting is executed on a board 60 x 60cm in acrylic paint.
Collections
Through the concept THE SELF and using the primary focus COLLECTIONS - student’s develop a work from a personal collection of importance - that has intrinsic value and shows an understanding of changing identity and ownership in the fluid transitions +( shells, thongs, cd’s, dvd’s, magazines, games, cards, model cars, sunglasses, caps, comics, etc).
